Team Members, Despite the fact that February is the shortest month of the year, we saw volume increases in the double digits! Our volume is up over 20% from February of 2009. This short month brought the highest number of activations of new Team Members than we’ve had in over three years! How’s that for leaping forward. We are in the middle of an exciting season and our growth will continue to lengthen with the spring and summer days. Already our volume in March is up more than 15% from February’s high numbers and we will probably double the volume and more than triple activations from March 2009. During the month of February, we had an inspiring Regional Event in Grand Junction, CO, where Dr. Joe, Dianne Leavitt, and Dan Higginson presented to an enthusiastic crowd. We launched Dan Higginson’s Founder’s Training program, announced the 2011 Legacy Retreat to Maui, and introduced a new activation promotion in Canada. This month we are gearing up to our Recognition Evening in April. This will be a spectacular event for everyone! Please register and prepare to attend; I promise it will be worth your while. Team Members, There is no better way to begin this month’s message than by simply saying Wow! What a phenomenal start to the new year. We’re carrying over the momentum of 2009, which was a fantastic year of growth and opportunity for Synergy WorldWide. Already in 2010 we are accelerating the pace and proving that we will continue to get better, making 2010 a signature year that will leave its mark on history. We are blowing away previous figures and nothing is slowing us down. January volume was up more that 25% over January 2009. Team Members, 2009 was a monumental year for Synergy WorldWide. It will be remembered for so many things: the milestone celebration of a decade in business, an international gathering in Japan, new products, new programs, new markets, and the announcement of an expansion into a new corporate office. Along with these notable accomplishments, Synergy will remember 2009 as a year of international growth that resulted in the emergence of bright, gifted leaders across the globe. One of our Team Members recently gave me a book that opened my eyes to the true meaning of a leader. The word “leader” is an Indo-European term derived from two words: the first part, l-e-a, means “path” and the second part, d-e-r, means finder. Therefore, a leader is literally a pathfinder, one who sees ahead and forges new pathways for themselves and others. Team Members, It’s hard to believe it has been almost three weeks since many of us met together in beautiful Tokyo, Japan to celebrate ten amazing years of Synergy. It was the absolute highlight of my Synergy career to be united with so many dedicated Team Members and to share in our success as a company. Those of you that were present understand exactly how I feel as you witnessed firsthand the global reach and influence this company has had and continues to have on markets all around the world. It was inspiring to see each of the markets represented at the Global Summit and to catch a glimpse of how committed and focused they are on building the Synergy opportunity and on carrying out our mission to Leave a Legacy. It was awesome to see so many of our valued North American Team Members walk across the stage in front of thousands and be recognized for your achievements. The excitement and energy was unmatched by any other event in Synergy history! I wish to extend a special thanks to each of you who attended the Summit and made that event so incredible. If you were unable to join us, know that you were missed and that we look forward to the next great event where we can be together and create more personal experiences. Team Members, I am writing to you from 35,000 feet above the Atlantic Ocean en route to an important visit with our Scandinavian markets. As part of my responsibilities, I oversee our growing business in Europe where we are launching our newest Synergy market: Sweden. There is much anticipation and excitement for this market that will open up the way for the many Northern Europeans to take advantage of our world class products and business opportunity. Team Members, Last month I spoke of the coming fall season, and now we find ourselves in the heart of it, surrounded by brightly colored leaves and crisp, cool air. One thing synonymous with fall is the start of school, and recently I stopped to reflect on the educational process. Our children spend years learning diverse subjects that will carry them throughout life and that will ideally leave them well rounded, educated contributors to society. Team Members, I can’t believe another month has come and gone. We are headed into one of my most favorite times of year– fall. I love the fall for a number of reasons: the perfect warm days, cool nights, college football games, the World Series, and the spectacular color change of the Wasatch Front Mountains. It also signals a prosperous and busy time of year for our industry. Normally, companies in our industry are coming off two of the worst months of business. Slow summer sales have just come to be expected. Synergy, however, does not follow the trend. The summer of 2009 will go down as one of the highest percentage increase in volume over the previous year in company history. Volume grew by more than 55 percent. Signups grew by more than 150 percent. Rank advancements grew by more than 300 percent. At Synergy we are defying the norm and setting a new standard in the industry. At a time when the expected occurrence is a summer lull in sales and many companies are experiencing a dramatic slowdown in their businesses, we are growing at a double digit pace. I’ve touted our tremendous growth before and it may sound like old news, but things just continue to get better every month. In fact, July was the best month we’ve had in North America all year. We are witnessing quantitative results from the hard work, dedication, and commitment our Team Members are demonstrating all over North America and throughout the world. Team Members, Once again I write to you coming off another incredible month of growth and activity. June may have been the most impressive month we’ve had this year! Not many companies can claim continued growth given our current economic climate, and even fewer experience growth during the summer months. We are seeing both! We witnessed tremendous results in June in all key statistical areas of activity. For example, June 2009 volume rose 40% from June 2008 and there was more than a 250% increase in the number of new sign-ups. We saw five times the amount of rank advancements last month over 2008. The exciting growth we are experiencing each month quantifies the feeling and energy we have all felt over the past six months. I feel privileged to be a part of this great company and inspired to see what the future will bring as we focus and work together to grow our Synergy business. Team Members, Another great month has just wrapped up here in North America and I am very happy to report that activity is up once again. In fact, we had the highest activity in over 19 months! Year to date, volume is up nearly 40%, sign ups are up over 60% and rank advancements are up significantly compared to 2008. We are seeing more Team Members engaged and committed to their Synergy business than ever before. I believe this is just the beginning of something very special. While many companies in and out of our industry are struggling and losing ground, we are gaining momentum and growing. This can be attributed to the tremendous dedication and effort of each of you. I believe we are more focused and united than ever before; I believe this focus has brought identity, continuity and power to our business. |
