Team Members, I can’t believe another month has come and gone. We are headed into one of my most favorite times of year– fall. I love the fall for a number of reasons: the perfect warm days, cool nights, college football games, the World Series, and the spectacular color change of the Wasatch Front Mountains. It also signals a prosperous and busy time of year for our industry. Normally, companies in our industry are coming off two of the worst months of business. Slow summer sales have just come to be expected. Synergy, however, does not follow the trend. The summer of 2009 will go down as one of the highest percentage increase in volume over the previous year in company history. Volume grew by more than 55 percent. Signups grew by more than 150 percent. Rank advancements grew by more than 300 percent. We had two new Team Member Executives break out in North America this summer: David Johnston hit Pearl and Scott Brumfield hit Emerald.
